Bootcamp FAQs

Q. When does the bootcamp start?

A. You can start any day after signing up, except Sundays (closed), provided you begin within 10 days of registration. Bootcamp sessions will continue for your full 8-weeks, regardless of when you started.

Q. Where and when are the bootcamp sessions?

A. All bootcamp sessions start at 7:00AM and end about 7:45, Monday - Saturdays. Simply, sign in at the front desk when you arrive. Our training center is at 801 S. Raymond Ave., Pasadena, CA. Ample free parking.

Q. What should I wear & bring?

A. Wear comfortable workout clothing and athletic shoes, and be sure to apply or bring sunscreen, as some of the workouts are outside on our turf field. Also, please bring your own towel and a water bottle (filtered/chilled water is available for free in the lobby). 

Boxing gloves are provided, as well as slip on protective gloves. If you prefer, hand wraps for your personal use are available at the front desk for $5.00, or you may purchase at any sporting goods/MMA store.

Q. Do I need a yoga mat?

A. Some boot campers prefer to use their own yoga mat when performing floor exercises. This is entirely your choice. Most floor exercises and stretching is on soft indoor or outdoor artificial turf. 

Q. What's the first step if I signed up for the Nutrition & Meal Planning option?

A. You will be contacted by one of our nutrition coaches within 48 hours of signing up. A 30 minute call is required to walk you through the program, discuss your personal goals and dietary preferences and restrictions. 

Q. What if I can't make a session or can only attend 2-3 times weekly?

A. No problem. Attend as often as you are able and train as much as necessary for you to achieve your goals. Avoid overtraining. Get plenty of sleep after training days and hydrate.

Q. What are the Covid protocols?

A. Masks required indoors. Temperature checks required at check in. Hand-washing stations located throughout the facility.

Please do not enter the facility if you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 or have been recently exposed. 

Q. Are their lockers & showers?

A. Yes, lockers are available in the shower area in each restroom. Bring your own lock but please do not leave contents overnight. 

Covid restrictions do not presently permit us to provide towels for showers - please bring your own towel. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and a blow dryer are available and complimentary.  

Q. What if I'm not in shape enough to keep up? Or not challenged enough?

A. Our sessions are challenging, however, they are designed to allow virtually all fitness levels to participate in a manner which is both challenging and effective. The weights you choose, the number of reps completed, or the speed you move is in your control. You'll get better every week!
