Nick Christenson is a hockey performance coach. His prior experience ranges from 7-year-old youth athletes to high school athletes. His sessions focus on hockey specific movements for strength, speed, mobility and agility, as well as stickhandling and shooting. Nick attests to the significance of off-ice training, and says it is the sole reason he was able to evolve as a player and as an athlete. He trusts the process!
Originally from Minnesota, he learned how to skate on the frozen ponds. After high school, Nick played his junior hockey for the Wichita Falls Wildcats and the Alexandria Blizzard of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). He then went on to play division III college hockey at Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota (MIAC). When Nick isn’t working, he enjoys outdoor adventures, staying active, writing screenplays, and cooking. Growing up, Nick received a lot of influence and motivation from his teachers and coaches. He strives to provide that same spark to his athletes.
