Mike Hauschild

Mike Hauschild is a former professional baseball player of over 10 seasons, including stints in the Major Leagues with the Texas Rangers (2017) and Toronto Blue Jays (2018). He was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 33rd round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft. He was a 2016 AAA All-star in the Pacific Coast League and was selected by the Texas Rangers in the 2016 Rule 5 draft. He then moved on to play with the St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays, and Chicago Cubs. Since retiring from professional baseball, Mike has established a baseball training program for athletes ranging from Little League to Major League Baseball with emphasis on fielding, hitting, and pitching mechanics. His passion is in creating individualized velocity training programs to increase velocity in a safe, effective manner for athletes ranging from high school level to Major League Baseball. As a co-owner of Orion Sports Medicine in Dayton, Ohio, Mike also regularly collaborates with Physical Therapists to create individualized programs for injury prevention and optimization of physical abilities.
